Joseph will be enthroned as the Metropolitant of the Antiochian Archdiocese of America in Brooklyn, New York.<\/p>\n<p>From the Antiochian Archdiocese:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div style=\"float: left; margin: 0 1em 1em 0;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/stpeterorthodoxchurch.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/pat-met.png\" alt=\"Patriarch John X and Metropolitan Joseph\" \/><\/div>\n<p>It is with great pleasure that we announce that the events related to the Enthronement of <a href=\"\/MetropolitanJoseph\">His Eminence Metropolitan Joseph<\/a> will take place&nbsp;during the weekend of December 5 through 7, 2014, at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.stnicholascathedral.org\/\">St. Nicholas Cathedral<\/a> in Brooklyn, New York. The actual enthronement will take place in conjunction with Vespers on Saturday, December 6.<\/p>\n<p>We will be greatly blessed by the presence of <a href=\"\/biography-his-beatitude-john-x-patriarch-antioch-and-all-east\">His Beatitude John X<\/a>, Patriarch of Antioch and All the East, who will preside during this weekend.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>Friday, December 5th:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Great Vespers with Artoklasia in the evening for the Feast of St. Nicholas&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Saturday, December 6th:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Orthros and Divine Liturgy in the morning for the Feast of St. Nicholas, Patron Saint of the Mother Cathedral<\/p>\n<p>Great Vespers and Enthronement of Metropolitan Joseph in the evening followed by a gala banquet at the Brooklyn Marriott Hotel.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sunday, December 7th:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Orthros and Patriarchal Divine Liturgy in the morning<\/p>\n<div style=\"clear: both;\"><\/div>\n<p>Complete information, including travel arrangements, can be found on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.antiochian.org\/enthronement\">Antiochian Archdiocese<\/a> website. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On December 5-7, 2014, His Emminence Met.
