We must not let evil in any form nestle in our heart; but evil generally appears in too many forms. <strong>Righteous John, Wonderworker of Kronstadt<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Spiritual pride also manifests itself in boastfulness, in the proud man&#8217;s pretended knowledge of everything, whilst in reality he knows very little or his spiritual eyes are entirely blind. <strong>Righteous John, Wonderworker of Kronstadt<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, if you feel that your illness is worsening and is beginning to exhaust your bodily strength, receive the Mystery of Holy Unction. The Lord God greatly heals the body by it, and if He is not pleased to heal your body, He will certainly heal your soul. <strong>Metropolitan Gregory (Postnikov) of St. Petersburg<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Spiritual meekness and meekness out of indifference are two different things. <strong>Saint Paisios of Mount Athos<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Bound up with this is a disease of today&#8217;s Orthodox Christians which can be deadly: the &#8216;correctness disease.&#8217; . . .
